It’s all about the kids! Healthy Smiles is 14 years old and growing!!!

We are a non-profit organization providing dental clinic services, prevention, education and outreach via our Garden Grove clinic, Smile Mobiles and CHOC hospital location.

This position will work with our dental programs bringing prevention and education services to Orange County schools as well as outreach events in the community.

The Community Relations & Contracts Manager will be responsible for cultivating relationships with school districts, community sites, and clinic partners. They will also negotiate and secure contracts with the aforementioned partners. Other essential duties will include:

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders at school districts, community sites and clinic partners in order to present partnership opportunities
  • Facilitate, attend and deliver presentations in support of creating collaborations
  • Negotiate contracts with partner entities and ensure contract terms are mutually beneficial for both parties
  • Work with legal counsel to ensure that contracts protect HSK interests.
  • Communicate regularly with contracted partners
  • Maintain a matrix of contracts with key information summarized
  • Work with HSK teams to ensure contract deliverables are met

Position Qualifications:

  • Preferred background or experience in cultivating community partnerships
  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Political Science, Communication, Public Relations, or other related field
  • Master’s Degree a plus
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with diverse cultural clients and staff
  • Must be able to work well with all levels of management and front line staff
  • Strong organization skills
  • Community health care setting experience helpful
  • Microsoft Office applications competency; working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
